Murilo Antonio Fischer (born June 16, 1979 in Brusque) is a Brazilian professional road bicycle racer, currently riding for UCI ProTeam Garmin-Cervélo. Prior to moving to Garmin, Fischer had raced his whole career with Italian teams, having begun his career with Domina Vacanze in 2004, before moving to UCI Professional Continental team Naturino-Sapore di Mare for the 2005 and 2006 seasons. At Naturino-Sapore di Mare, Fischer proved his consistency over a season by winning the 2004–2005 UCI Europe Tour. In 2007, Fischer made the step up to the ProTour with Liquigas. Fischer is the only Brazilian to have completed two Tours de France, the only Brazilian rider to have completed two grand tours (the Tour de France and the Giro d'Italia) and the second Brazilian to win a stage of a Protour race.
Fischer signed with Garmin-Transitions on January 3, 2010, to be part of Tyler Farrar's leadout train in the upcoming season.[1]
